I currently work as a news verification reporter/editor at The Associated Press. This means that I debunk, analyze and track mis/disinformation spreading online using expert interviews, data, image geolocation and other techniques. I write about a diverse array of subject matter, such as U.S. elections, international conflicts and fake alien invasions.

My first foray into the world of mis/disinformation was at NewsGuard Technologies, where I reviewed news and information sites for credibility and transparency. I also produced a monthly, data-driven newsletter covering the U.S. and Europe.

Additionally, I traveled solo in South America and Antarctica for five months a few years back. That has nothing to do with journalism, I just think it's cool.
