My expertise includes crafting news and enterprise stories, media criticism, writing blog posts and first-person essays, interviewing subjects of diverse backgrounds, editing for grammar and content, researching, fact-checking, and managing social media.

My experience includes:

• Analyzing, tracking, and debunking misinformation spreading online using public insight tools, expert interviews, document analysis, and image geolocation on the News Verification desk at The Associated Press

• Producing a monthly, data-driven newsletter at NewsGuard Technologies covering misinformation and disinformation, with four editions in the U.S. and Europe that had a combined distribution of approximately 4,500

• Working as a freelance writer and editor for companies such as Factstory, a subsidiary of the Agence France-Presse news agency; Smart Cities Dive; and local newspapers in Brooklyn and Queens

• Serving an integral role on a three-person team to overhaul the communications department at The Berkeley Carroll School, an independent, prekindergarten through 12th grade institution in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Additionally, I traveled solo in South America and Antarctica for five months, from September 2017-February 2018. During my time abroad, I wrote a travelogue series about my trip for CheapOair’s Miles Away blog and Freestyle Adventure Travel, developed an intermediate proficiency in Spanish and worked at a hostel in Cόrdoba, Argentina.
